Hardscrabble Mountain Custom Leather Silhouette Vests
Currently, there are three vests in our product line. The customer chooses the colors and I custom fit each leather vest to the particular shooter. Each vest features two large pockets, one magazine pocket (holds 2 magazines), one slimline pocket, one pen pocket, name tag holder, plus extra leather on the shoulder pad.

The original vest is constructed of all suede leather with a 1000
denier Cordura lining. This vest happens to be my personal favorite.
The weight of the vest really helps to dampen the negative effects
of the shooter's pulse. The suede material also creates a very solid
shooting surface. |
The second vest is a top grain vest. Most
shooters choose the all white backing. The vest consists of a lighter
weight,
top grain
leather along with the 1000 Denier Cordura lining. The sides of
the vest are cut down to allow for more airflow around the shooter,
creating
an ideal vest for shooting in a warm climate. |
My 2006 addition is a mesh vest with a double leather shoulder pad,
leather for the supporting arm, and a magazine pocket. While this vest
is ideal for shooting in warm climates its lightweight construction
is also perfectly suited for the beginning shooter. |
